Is the Hadith: "And what prevents me, when Gabriel, peace be upon him, has just come to me and said: 'Give glad tidings to your Ummah that whoever invokes blessings upon you once, Allah will record for him ten good deeds, expiate from him ten evil deeds, raise him ten degrees, Allah Almighty will return to him the like of his invocation, and it will be presented to me on the Day of Resurrection'" authentic, and is there another Hadith that equals this reward for invoking blessings upon the Messenger of Allah?
Many hadiths have been authentically narrated concerning the virtues of sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), among them: The hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah will send ten blessings upon him, erase ten sins from him, and raise him ten degrees." And the hadith of Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "O Messenger of Allah, I frequently send blessings upon you. How much of my supplication should I devote to sending blessings upon you?" He said: "As much as you wish..." I said: "Should I devote all of my supplication to sending blessings upon you?" He said: "Then your worries will be sufficient for you, and your sins will be forgiven."
