Is there a time factor in the life of the Barzakh after death, and does the waiting period therein differ according to the timing of people's deaths?

Every deceased person will be in the life of Al-Barzakh from their death until the Day of Resurrection. It is the barrier between this world and the Hereafter. In this Al-Barzakh, the obedient will be granted pleasure, and the disobedient will be tormented. The nature of Al-Barzakh is among the matters of the unseen, the true essence of which is unknown. It is incumbent upon the believer to stop where the texts transmitted from the truthful revelation have stopped and not to delve deeply or split hairs into matters not mentioned in the texts.
