The answer

Commercial health insurance provided by commercial insurance companies is forbidden due to the presence of gharar (excessive uncertainty) and jahalah (ignorance) in it. It is not permissible for an employee to subscribe to it by choice or to approve it, even if they do not pay anything. If the company insures them without their consent, then what the company has paid in insurance premiums is considered a donation from it, and the employee may benefit from the insurance services within its limits.
