Hijama (cupping) is one of the beneficial remedies for the human body, and this has been affirmed by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, just as it has been proven by practical experience. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there is any good in any of your remedies, it is in a scarification by a cupper, or a drink of honey, or a cauterization by fire, but I do not like to be cauterized." The Prophet forbade cauterization. And hijama does not involve pain.
