Would it be considered zina if the husband had intercourse with his wife before the agreed-upon consummation and her father prevented it, and would any act of lust with her then be forbidden to him?

The Shar'i contract makes the woman the man's wife, and it permits him what is permissible for a husband from his wife. However, customs should be observed regarding delaying the consummation to avoid embarrassment. Before consummation, the wife's obedience is to her guardian, not to her husband. If the prompt dowry has not been paid and the wife has not consummated the marriage, her affair is with her father. If the dowry has been paid and the wife is capable of intercourse, then she must be handed over to her husband, and he must not be prevented from consummating the marriage.
