What is the relationship between extravagance and going against innate disposition in the noble verse: "Indeed, you approach men with lust instead of women. Rather, you are a people who commit extravagance"?

The essence of extravagance (israf) is exceeding the limit, whether through excess or deficiency. This abomination transcends the limit permissible by Allah and the customary desire. Extravagance is an overstepping of the act in its nature, and this heinous act entails many corruptions, among them the use of animalistic desires for purposes other than those for which they were ingrained, altering the specificity of masculinity, debasing the one acted upon, cutting off or reducing progeny, and bringing harm to both the doer and the one acted upon.
