Is it permissible to obey one's mother in severing ties of kinship due to her accusing relatives of sorcery and harm without proof or certainty?

Filial piety towards the mother and obedience to her are among the most obligatory duties, unless her command involves disobedience to Allah. Therefore, it is not permissible to obey the mother in severing ties of kinship, unless what is mentioned about them regarding sorcery is proven and they are openly practicing it. In that case, it is obligatory to obey the mother in shunning them until they repent.
