Does Allah feel shy to punish an old man in Islam?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not authentically narrate the hadith: "Allah, the Blessed and Most High, says: 'I am indeed ashamed of My male and female servants who grow old in Islam, so the beard of My male servant turns gray and the head of My female servant turns gray in Islam, that I should then punish them in the Fire.'" This hadith was narrated by Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, with a very weak chain of transmission. However, authentic hadiths have been narrated concerning the virtue of one who grows old in Islam, among them: "Whoever grows a single gray hair in the way of Allah, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection."
