Is it permissible to name a newborn girl "Noor," knowing that the noble verse "Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth" describes Allah Almighty?

"Light" (An-Noor) is one of Allah Almighty's names. There is no harm in using a name that is common in the Arabic language to refer to both Allah and others, provided that the name is not preceded by "al" (the definite article) and is not exclusive to Allah, such as "Al-Khaliq" (the Creator) or "Ar-Razzaq" (the Provider). This is evidenced by the existence of names like "Al-Ali" (the Most High) and "Al-Hakim" (the Most Wise) for Allah Almighty, which are at the same time names of Companions and their successors, such as Ali ibn Abi Talib and Hakim ibn Hizam.
