The answer

Allah has permitted a Muslim man to marry a chaste woman from the People of the Book, provided that the guardianship belongs to the Muslim. However, it is not recommended due to the numerous potential harms, including compromising one's faith for the sake of courtesy, the wife not adhering to the rules of purity, her laxity in dress and mixing with others, and the potential loss of children in case of divorce, as Western countries often side with the wife. It is not permissible to compel her to convert to Islam, for Allah Almighty says: ﴿There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong.﴾ The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, emphasized the importance of choosing a religious woman in marriage.
