What is the ruling on supplicating for impossibilities if it will lead to an increase in good and the fulfillment of a worldly wish, and is it permissible to supplicate with "If it were permissible for me to ask You" to avoid transgressing in supplication, taking into account al-Qarafi's condition?

The fundamental rule regarding the supplication for things that are ordinarily impossible is prohibition. Some scholars have explicitly stated its impermissibility, as it involves audacity and ill manners towards Allah Almighty. If a supplication itself is forbidden, it should not be made under the pretext of increasing good deeds, achieving a wish, conditioning its permissibility, or claiming it to be among the miracles of saints. Every request that contradicts Allah's wisdom, or involves contradicting His law and command, or implies something contrary to what He has revealed, is an aggression that Allah does not love, nor does He love the one who makes such a request.
