Is translating a novel that contains sexual scenes, even if the purpose is not to encourage immorality, but rather it is part of the life story of a girl who worked as a prostitute, considered an act that violates the Islamic religion?

Translating obscene stories that contain immorality, pornography, and perversion contributes to the spread of indecency and aims to tempt Muslims and destroy their morals.

This falls under the warning of Allah Almighty: ﴿Indeed, those who like that indecency should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter﴾ [An-Nur: 19].

One must repent from translating these stories and stop printing them, and increase in seeking forgiveness and doing good deeds.
