Is a programmer's work in a company that provides a service delivering news on stock prices of companies and banks considered unlawful (haram), knowing that some of these companies and banks deal in unlawful (haram) and usurious (ribawi) ways, and some methods of dealing in stocks are not permissible in Islamic law?

There is no doubt that means share the rulings of their ends, and whatever leads to the forbidden is itself forbidden. Scholars have explicitly stated the prohibition of selling grapes to someone who will turn them into wine, because it is assisting in the forbidden, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If the programs are suitable for permissible and other uses, then there is no harm. However, if they are specifically prepared for these companies for a particular purpose, then it is not permissible for you to assist in them, as they are used to enrich forbidden usurious transactions.
