What is the ruling on seeking forgiveness exactly 70 times, without increase or decrease?

Seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) is not limited to a specific number. There are Hadiths that mention seeking forgiveness seventy times or more, such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "By Allah, I seek Allah’s forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day."
