Is the memorization of the Noble Qur'an by meaning only, and not by memorizing its complete words, as indicated by the removal of six letters from the seven letters and the retention of only one letter, according to the Noble Verse: "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Dhikr and indeed, We will be its guardian"?

It is not valid to say that the Holy Quran is preserved only in meaning or that it was not preserved completely. The entire Quran is preserved in its exact wording, and not a single letter can be added or removed from it. Muslim scholars have unanimously agreed on the apostasy of anyone who denies a letter of the Quran upon which there is consensus. The argument that six of the seven ahruf (readings) have vanished is invalid, as the seven ahruf are present in our Qurans today. Similarly, the claim that the Uthmani Qurans only contained one of the seven ahruf is unfounded, as the majority of scholars hold that the Uthmani Qurans encompass whatever their script can accommodate from the seven ahruf.
