Is it permissible for a wife to seek divorce due to her husband's continuous instability in travel, even though she is aware of his rights and his treatment of her in a way that pleases Allah, except that he prefers his brothers over her and burdens her with his absence?

Scholars have determined that a husband may travel and be absent from his wife for six months or less, even if his wife does not grant him permission. However, he may not exceed this period without an excuse, unless with her permission. Exceptions to this time limit include obligatory travel, such as Hajj, and travel that is indispensable to him, such as traversing the land to seek sustenance. If the husband possesses means of livelihood in his country that only provide him with the necessities and needs of life, then he is not permitted to travel for more than six months unless with his wife's permission. If he does so and the wife is harmed, and the husband refuses to return, the wife is permitted to request a divorce due to this harm.
