ما حكم الرد على إبلاغ السلام بقول "الله يسلمك" أو "الله يسلمهم"؟

The phrase "Allah yusallimak" (May Allah keep you safe) means praying for safety, and it is permissible because the default rule for customs is permissibility. However, it is better to adhere to the form of greeting (salam) mentioned in the Sunnah: "Assalamu alaykum" (Peace be upon you), because it is the greeting of the people of Paradise and their descendants. When returning a greeting, it should be with the like or better. If the greeting is conveyed (through someone), returning the greeting to the sender is obligatory, and it is also recommended to return it to the one who conveyed it.
