What is the ruling on selling flags of sports clubs and consuming money earned from them?

Sports are permissible in principle, but in this era, they have exceeded limits to the extent that they have affected people's lives, leading to the squandering of money, energies, and time, and the loss of youth. People may even show loyalty or enmity for their sake. Therefore, many scholars have disliked or forbidden them, not for their essence, but for what has become associated with them that contradicts the objectives of the Sharia (definition). Likewise, flags associated with them are permissible to buy, sell, and earn from, as long as they are not a means to something forbidden.
