Is it permissible to eat from relatives' food if their source of income is illicit?

The basic principle regarding a Muslim's wealth is that it is free from unlawfulness (haram), and one must think well of others. Therefore, there is no harm in eating from the food of relatives, unless one is certain that all their wealth is unlawful, or that the food provided specifically comes from unlawful wealth.
