What is the ruling regarding a married woman developing a liking for another man, if this feeling is only in her heart?

Thoughts and inner whispers of the heart are forgiven as long as one does not actively pursue them or dwell on them. Therefore, whoever feels admiration due to an infatuation by a foreigner should seek refuge in Allah from these thoughts, sever them, and not indulge in them.
