There is no obligation to make up missed Sunnah prayers, but some scholars recommend making them up. They cite the action of the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he made up the Sunnah prayer of Dhuhr after Asr, and the Hadith: "Whoever sleeps through his portion [of recitation]... and recites it between the Fajr prayer and the Dhuhr prayer, it will be recorded for him as if he had recited it during the night." They also cite his making up the two Rak'ahs of Fajr after the sun had risen.
