Does gradually distancing oneself from a female friend who incites jealousy and psychological harm, due to past actions and current negative feelings, constitute a sin or an injustice to her?

The Sharia (definition) has prohibited envy and turning away from one another among Muslims. It is impermissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days, unless he fears harm to his religion or worldly affairs from his company. If there is no harm in maintaining a relationship with this woman, then it is not permissible to abandon her entirely. The abandonment, according to the majority of scholars, ceases simply by greeting or returning a greeting. It is advised to purify the heart from envy.
