Is a housewife who owns two thousand riyals per month required to pay zakat on her money?

Zakat is not obligatory on salary until it reaches the nisab on its own or when combined with other money or trade goods owned by the salary earner, and a full hawl (lunar year) passes after it reaches the nisab. The nisab for currencies is equivalent to 85 grams of gold or 595 grams of silver, and the obligatory zakat amount is 2.5% (a quarter of a tenth).
