Is it permissible to give zakat to a brother who has a limited income and a bank deposit that is insufficient for his livelihood, and he has a son and a daughter in a private school, and his wife needs medical treatment costs, while his other brothers are well-off?

First: Educating children in private schools is not among the needs for which Zakat is paid.

Second: The majority of scholars are of the opinion that the husband is not obligated to cover his wife's medical expenses. It is permissible to pay Zakat for the wife's treatment if she is unable to bear the cost of her treatment and her relatives, who are responsible for her maintenance, are unable to pay for her treatment expenses.

Third: It is not permissible to benefit from deposits in interest-based banks except in cases of extreme necessity. They must be withdrawn immediately, and their interest disposed of by spending it on public welfare, if there is no necessity.
