The answer

"Plucking (al-namṣ) is forbidden according to the authentic text. It involves the cursing of those who tattoo and those who ask to be tattooed, those who pluck and those who ask to be plucked, and those who create spaces between their teeth for beauty, altering Allah’s creation. No Muslim scholar is known to have supported it. If an odd opinion exists, it is not to be adopted due to its contradiction of the authentic hadith. Plucking (al-namṣ) is the removal of hair with tweezers. Scholars have extended this to include any removal or beautification by any means, as the underlying reason is the alteration of Allah’s creation. However, if the hair disfigures the creation, there is no objection to removing that which causes disfigurement, analogous to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) permission for Arfajah ibn Sa'd to wear a nose of gold."
