The answer

All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and his companions. To proceed:

Economics is important for the Muslim community, and it is part of the strength that Allah commanded, as He says: (And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy) [Al-Anfal: 60]. However, this economy will not be strong unless it is built upon the Shari’ah of Allah Almighty.

Please refer to the following answers concerning the rulings on dealing in shares and in financial and business markets, with numbers: 33548 - 31269 - 31570.

And Allah knows best.
