Is it obligatory for a woman to wear socks if her abaya is long and covers her feet?

The Muslim woman is required to cover her entire body from men. Therefore, she is permitted to lower her garment by the length of an arm to cover her feet. She must cover her feet either with a long, flowing garment or by wearing socks. If she covers them, she is not obligated to wear socks, but if she does wear them, it is an additional layer of covering and is commendable.
