Am I obligated to visit my abusive uncle, who throws me out and avoids me, despite the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him, "No severer of kinship ties will enter Paradise"?

The Ahadith state that it is better to continue maintaining kinship ties even if they are severed. In Sahih Muslim, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have relatives with whom I maintain ties, but they cut me off. I treat them well, but they treat me badly. I am forbearing with them, but they are ignorant towards me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If you are as you say, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and you will continue to have a supporter from Allah against them as long as you remain in that state." And in Sahih Al-Bukhari, Abdullah ibn Amr reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The one who maintains ties is not the one who reciprocates, but the one who maintains ties is he who, when his kinship ties are severed, reconnects them."

This action is not humiliation but rather elevates one's status with Allah and among people, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him." Perhaps your continued repulsion of evil with good will open your uncle's heart to the truth, and he will turn into a close friend, in fulfillment of Allah's saying: (Repel evil with that which is best. Then, verily, he, between whom and you was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the owner of great fortune.) (41:34-35) You should also wisely explain to him the seriousness of cutting off kinship ties.
