What is the ruling on hanging Quranic verses in frames and ending the writing of the verse with "صدق الله العظيم" (Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth)?

We have previously mentioned the permissibility of hanging Qur'anic verses on walls for admonition and remembrance, provided the place is respectable. As for ending the writing of verses with the phrase "صدق الله العظيم" (Allah, the Most High, has spoken the truth), Allah indeed speaks the truth, and there is none truer in speech than Him. The ruling on writing this phrase after the verses is similar to the ruling on uttering it after recitation. We have clarified that habitually saying it after finishing the recitation of the Qur'an is considered an additive innovation (bid'ah idafiyyah) by some scholars. The Companions did not write it at the end of chapters in the Mus'haf. Therefore, committing to writing or saying it gives the impression that this specific practice is a Sunnah, which it is not.
