Does the soul of the deceased visit their family and relatives and know what is going on in their lives, or does it descend to the grave by Allah's permission on Thursdays and Fridays to listen to its visitors?

The visitation of the spirits of the dead to the homes of the living is a matter of the unseen, for which there is no evidence in Islamic law. Furthermore, specifying the visitation of graves to Mondays and Thursdays has no evidence, apart from what Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned from some scholars without further comment. The spirit does, however, have dispositions that have been affirmed by Islamic law.
