Why was Surat Al-Waqi'ah given this name?

Surat al-Waqi'ah was named as such because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, named it so. Narrations mention that he said: "Hud, al-Waqi'ah, al-Mursalat, Amma Yatasa'alun, and Idha al-Shamsu Kuwwirat have made me old." It was also named so during the era of the Companions. Al-Waqi'ah is one of the names of the Day of Judgment.
