The internet and social media are a blessing and a double-edged sword. The way to show gratitude for this blessing is by using them in what pleases Allah, such as inviting people to Him and spreading good. A Muslim must be truthful in what they publish, avoid lies, verify news before sharing it, and not disseminate everything they hear. They must also avoid everything that leads to temptation, whether doubts or desires, especially looking at images of women and pornographic films. The foundation of all this is to be conscious of Allah's watchful eye in secret and in public, for He is All-Knowing of everything and sees every action.
