How can seeing the moon during the day be reconciled with Allah's saying, "It is not for the sun to overtake the moon"?

The meaning of the noble verse: It is not befitting for the sun to rise at night, thus turning night into day, nor is it befitting for the moon to rise by day, thus obscuring the sunlight; for each has its own specific time. This is what Imam Ibn Jarir and Ibn Kathir concluded, that both the sun and the moon have a limit they do not transgress, so the sun's dominion is by day and the moon's dominion is by night. As for Al-Tahir Ibn Ashour, he mentioned that the meaning is the negation of a collision between the sun and the moon. In any case, there is no contradiction between seeing the moon by day and the noble verse.
