What is the view of Sharia on energy healing or what is called Ruqyah?

The energy healing mentioned is a forbidden therapy. It is a form of pagan ritual based on Buddhist proselytization. Those who administer this therapy have stated that the patient must be a Buddhist and must swear to follow Buddha and his teachings. This is an act of disbelief in Allah Almighty, which must be denounced and disavowed. The claim that this therapy is known in Islam as ruqyah is a falsehood and a lie, for ruqyah in Islam is based on faith in Allah and His Oneness. One must beware of these programs that corrupt belief and pollute the innate disposition.
