Does washing the hands up to the elbows in wudu include washing the palms?

Washing the palms of the hands is obligatory when washing the hands up to the elbows, because they are included in the term "hand." The hands are washed twice: the first time at the beginning of ablution, which is a Sunnah (definition), and the second time during ablution, which is obligatory. It is obligatory to wash them up to the elbows, including the elbows in the wash, as Allah Almighty stated: "and your hands to the elbows" (Al-Ma'idah: 6).
