Is it considered a sin against God not to visit family – who love no one but themselves – except on Eids?

It is advisable to improve one's perception of family members and to consult the counseling department. The rights of relatives include enduring harm and pardoning, and pardoning increases a Muslim's honor. It is not permissible to sever ties with one's parents, no matter how much harm they inflict. As for other relatives, if visiting them causes severe harm (such as anger, verbal abuse, or insults), there is no sin in refraining from visiting and instead maintaining ties through other means, such as giving gifts, inquiring about their well-being, or visiting on Eid and calling throughout the year, because maintaining ties is subject to custom.
