Why were we not given a choice in coming to this life, and in undergoing its test which ends in either Paradise or Hellfire, when we reject this test and its horrors?

A Muslim must believe that Allah Almighty is the Creator of all things, that He does what He wills, that He is not questioned concerning what He does while they are questioned, and that He wrongs no one. Allah created the universe and humankind with immense wisdom, not in vain, for humankind was created to be tested and tried. The servant must be content with Allah's decree and destiny, occupy himself with what brings him closer to his Lord, and shut out the whispers of Satan.
