What is the ruling on a traveler combining the Dhuhr and Asr prayers and shortening them, when he works at a place 95 km away from his residence and his working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM?

If the distance between the two towns reaches approximately 83 kilometers, it is permissible to avail oneself of the concessions for travel, such as shortening prayers (qasr) and combining them (jama'). The distance traveled within the town itself is not counted.
Firstly, shorten the Dhuhr prayer to two rak'ahs, unless it is prayed behind an Imam who completes the prayer, in which case it must be completed with him.
After Dhuhr, it is permissible to combine Asr with it by performing it early (jama' taqdim).
