Is it permissible to add an unknown woman on modern social media with the intention of benefiting from her posts, and not to communicate with her?

The default ruling is that it is permissible for a man to add a woman on social media for beneficial purposes, as long as it does not lead to temptation (fitna) or unnecessary conversation. However, it is preferable not to add them to avoid undesirable consequences.
