What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a father who disinherited his daughter and registered his properties in the name of his children from another wife, and does the sin fall away from him if his daughter forgives him?

It is not permissible to favor children in giving gifts unless there is a justification (such as illness, disability, or a large family). It is obligatory to forgive the deceased father and to supplicate and seek forgiveness for him.
