The answer

There is no Marfu‘ (elevated) hadith regarding the virtue of Surat al-‘Asr. However, al-Tabarani narrated from Abu Madinah al-Darimi that two companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would not part ways after meeting until one of them recited Surat al-‘Asr in its entirety to the other, and each would then greet the other. Al-Haythami said in Majma‘ al-Zawa’id that the narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih. Imam al-Shafi‘i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "If people were to ponder this surah, it would suffice them." The rhetorical devices can be found by referring to books of Tafsir and Balagha.
