What is the ruling on washing clothes touched by a dog in a regular washing machine, and does this washing machine remove the impurity of the dog?

Clothing, hands, and anything else touched by a dog's saliva, sweat, or waste becomes impure (najis) and must be washed seven times, one of them with earth or with soap, as there is a difference of opinion among scholars. The Malikis, however, are of the view that a dog's sweat, saliva, and nasal discharge are pure.
