Does cleaning a cat's rear after it relieves itself invalidate ablution?

Touching an animal's private parts does not invalidate ablution (wudu'). This is the view of the majority of scholars and the most preponderant opinion among jurists, because this act is not explicitly stated as invalidating ablution, nor does it share the meaning of what is explicitly stated. Furthermore, the default is that ablution remains valid until a Sunnah (prophetic tradition) proves otherwise, and no such Sunnah has been established. Moreover, the general mention of "private parts" in some narrations is understood to refer to the common and known meaning, which is the private parts of a human being.
