Should a woman complete her fast if she menstruates during the day after sunrise, and then make up that day after Ramadan, or must she break her fast that day and then make it up after Ramadan?

If a woman sees menstrual blood during the day, her fast is invalidated, she must make up for it, and she becomes non-fasting. It is not permissible for her to intend to fast while she is menstruating, and she incurs sin if she does so. The fast of a menstruating woman and a woman in post-natal bleeding is invalid and forbidden for them, and they must make up for it; this is a matter of consensus.
