The answer

If you desire marriage and are able to afford it, you should hasten to it to preserve your chastity and act upon the Prophet's (peace be upon him) recommendation. There is no harm if your father marries you off and spends on you and your wife until you are able to work. Some scholars have even stated that a wealthy father must marry off his poor son who needs to marry, and he is responsible for his wife's maintenance. Ibn Qudamah said: "And upon the father is to ensure his son's chastity if his maintenance is incumbent upon him and the son is in need of that chastity... And whoever is obliged to ensure his chastity is also obliged to provide for his wife's maintenance, because chastity cannot be achieved otherwise."
