Does Surat Al-Mulk save its reciter from the torment of the grave, and if the one who is granted blessings in the grave is safe on the Day of Resurrection, does Surat Al-Mulk then save one from the terrors of the Day of Resurrection?

Surat Al-Mulk prevents the torment of the grave and intercedes for its reciter on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is saved from the torment of the grave is hoped to be saved on the Day of Resurrection, because the grave is the first stage of the Hereafter, and salvation from it makes what comes after it easier. The virtue of this Surah (definition) is based on transmitted narrations, not on analogy. The torment may also be alleviated by other means, such as supplication (Du'a) and intercession (Shafa'ah). The entire matter depends on the grace and forgiveness of Allah.
