Divorce was legislated to be an exit when marital life becomes corrupted, and it was made limited in number to prevent manipulation and harm to the wife. A man who divorces his wife three times exhausts all the divorces Allah has permitted him. Consequently, this woman is no longer lawful for him, and she has irrevocably separated from him with a major, irreversible divorce. The scattering of the family and children after divorce is not an exaggeration, and children can be cared for through various means. The thought that lingers in one's mind after divorce, that the woman is still a wife, is a notion that contradicts Islamic law and holds no validity. The occurrence of divorce in a state of anger is not an excuse that invalidates it.
