Why is it not permissible to say "Allah and His Messenger know best" after the death of the Messenger, peace be upon him? And did the Messenger know the meaning of the disconnected letters at the beginnings of the Surahs? And will we say "peace be upon him" and "upon him be peace" and "may Allah be pleased with him" for the prophets, companions, and followers in Paradise?

We have previously discussed the phrase "Allah and His Messenger know best." Regarding the disconnected letters at the beginning of some Surahs, nothing has been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning their meanings, nor can one definitively ascertain whether he knew them or not. Praying upon the Prophet in Paradise is not a religious obligation, as the Hereafter is a realm of recompense, not of obligation. Furthermore, there is no evidence that the people of Paradise will be inspired to do so, just as they will be inspired to glorify and praise Allah. It is advisable to direct one's thoughts towards matters that yield benefit in religious or worldly affairs.
