Does divorce occur with the saying, "I'm tired of you, you're of no use to me," or "Get all the worries out of my life," or by repeating the word "I divorce you" in one's heart with tension and confusion?

As long as you did not utter a clear divorce (talaq (definition)) and did not firmly intend to enact it through a veiled expression (kinayah), your divorce has not taken place. Divorce does not occur when there is doubt about its occurrence, nor does it occur from a person afflicted with obsessive thoughts (waswas) who is overcome by his mind. Therefore, turn away from these whispers and pay no attention to them.
