Is it permissible to recite by only moving the lips and tongue if all the letters do not emanate from their correct articulation points, such as the hamza, qaf, and madd letters, which require raising the voice?

We advise you to treat obsessive whisperings (waswas) by ignoring them, because disregarding them makes them vanish. Scholars have differed regarding whether a worshipper must make himself hear [what he recites], and the preponderant opinion is that it is not obligatory. Based on this, there is no harm in raising your voice with the Qur'an when there is a need or in the presence of some of your family members. However, if you can pray in private, that is better.
